This car was in a line of Ford GTs sitting on the fairway at St. John’s golf course in Plymouth, Michigan. This particular one, called the Ford GT-R, was was owned by Doran Racing from Cincinnati, and was prepped for the GT-2 Class with the ultimate goal of racing the 24-hours of Le Mans.

Its GT-2 days are over, so the only chance you’ll have to see the car lets its 560-horsepower, 330 cubic-inch V8 loose is at Sportscar Vintage Racing Association events. And you should totally go, if only for the sound track.
