Riders on a ferry in Washington State watched helplessly as huge waves completely engulfed the cars unlucky enough to be near the edge.

Ferry officials say that it’s common for storm waves to knock cars around like this when drivers forget to set their parking brakes, as KOMO News reports.

The damage to the cars is as yet unknown, but these cars were basically in the ocean. That can’t be good.
