Just Buy The Damn Corolla

The Toyota Corolla isn’t the car you think it is.

You imagine it as a rock, immutable, unbreakable.

This is not the case.

It is, and has been, and always will be an ordinary car, mortal like all the rest of them. Its reputation for invincibility comes not just from its mechanical qualities, but from its ubiquity and its owners and its enduring history as a single-named car (unlike the Falcon that gave way to the Pinto that gave way to the Escort that gave way to the Focus, for example.)

The Corolla is much more normal than you might imagine from the outside.

But you want normal. And, as Regular Car Reviews notes, you should just buy the damn Corolla.
