Right-Wing Website Wants This Anti-Hillary IndyCar Racer To Happen

More than a few conservatives are quaking in their boots over the prospect of Hillary Clinton, in their mind the devil incarnate, becoming our next president. To prevent such a tragedy, one patriotic website invites to you, the American people, to help them sponsor an IndyCar dressed in anti-Hillary livery at this year’s Indy 500.

The proposed race car design from this “group”—No Hillary in 2016, which at present seems more than a website and a Twitter account, making it already more effective than some SuperPACs—depicts the word “Hillary” in a red circle with a slash through it. If you took D.A.R.E. in school, you’ll understand that that means “Hillary=bad.” It’s a masterwork of design.

Why are they doing this? Well, unsurprisingly, No Hillary in 2016 is down on Hillary:

Hillary Clinton stands for everything that is wrong with our country today: constant attacks on our Second Amendment right, the degradation of our Religious Freedoms, a joke of a ‘Health Care’ system, a complete failure of a foreign policy, and so much more.

They went on, describing their intentions for race day:

This Memorial Day, we want to make a bold statement to the world that The American People have had enough of these failures! We are collecting contributions to enter a car in the 100th running of the Indianapolis 500, the largest sporting event on the planet, to make your voice heard. “WE DON’T WANT HILLARY!” If you care about Freedom, Democracy, Liberty, and The American Dream, don’t wait a second longer and join us today.

But running a race car at one of the highest echelons of motorsport—on the 100th anniversary of America’s most prestigious race, no less!—isn’t cheap, so the group is trying to crowdfund the red, white and blue Say No To Hillary race car.

And they’re only asking for a cool, easy, supremely do-able $1 million. But they’ve got 49 days left before their crowd funding ends, so how far along are they?

$940.

Yep. Nine-hundred and forty dollars.

Now, I’m not good at math, but I’m pretty sure that means they only have to raise nine hundred ninety nine thousand sixty dollars in the next month and a half. Who knows, maybe some rich cowboy-turned-oil tycoon has that kind of money stashed in his boot, but it’s not looking good for the Hillary Haters.

They also offer no details on how, exactly, they’d get the livery onto a team’s car, just that they “are partnering with an experienced and competitive team that knows how to connect with the fans and get this message across.” Sure. Seems doable.

How do they feel about Bernie Sanders, though?
