The original BMW M3 comes from a time when men were men, when women were women, and the M legitimately stood for “motorsport.”
The E30 M3 stands as one of the best cars I’ve driven. In my book, that rev-tastic, racing-derived S14 engine and magical chassis absolutely live up to the hype. And when you don’t want to go crazy, it’s as livable and comfortable as any 3 Series.
BMW has been in the habit lately of saluting its older models with video retrospectives, and next up on the list is the classic M3 everyone loves. If you’re somehow not familiar with its magic, check this out.
