10.) The Fast And The Furious, Toyota Supra 2JZ Reaction
Dom’s team wasn’t pleased at all when Spilner showed up with a junkyard MKIV Supra. Maybe they forgot that Supras came with highly valuable and mod-able 2JZs. Let’s try and give them benefit of the doubt.
At least Jesse quickly comes to his senses with the “this thing will decimate all with about $15,000 of overnight parts from Japan” line.

9.) Dallas Buyers Club Lamborghini Aventador Poster
Dallas Buyers Club is a movie set right smack in the middle of the 1980s. Now I’m not 100 percent sure, but I’m about 99 percent positive that no one in the ‘80s had any remote clue of the ever possible existence of the Lamborghini Aventador.
Did I miss that part in the movie when Ron Woodruff travels 30 years into the future and scoops up one of these posters?

8.) Dukes Of Hazzard Jump
Getting air in a car can be fun, when the car isn’t a 40-year-old American muscle car loaded with passengers, flying through the air at what appears to be five stories off the ground. Then it’s just tragic.
Unless of course you’re “just’a good ol’ boys. Never meanin’ no harm.” Then you apparently have nothing to worry about.

7.) Drive Reverse Gearing
It doesn’t matter how handsome Ryan Gosling is, he does not have the ability to drive highway speeds in reverse. How many backwards gears did that Mustang have? Sorry, no.

6.) Torque Bike Duel
Wait, they’re fighting? It looked these two were performing a ballet on bikes.

5.) Vanishing Point, Challenger Becomes A Camaro
At least there’s a somewhat reasonable explanation behind this movie blunder. Reader magnum1978 can explain.
The production did not own the Challengers. Chrysler did. Chrysler was not a fan of the movie that had been made. It was meant to be great marketing for the new E-Body. It turned out to be a polarizing ‘70s antihero movie (Must not have read the script before offering support).
The company took the cars back as they always intended to. So Camaro eats it over a new Challenger.

4.) Casino Royale Rollover
There’s no chance an emergency accident avoidance maneuver like the one 007 pulls in this scene would cause this sports car to roll like it does. He didn’t even dig a wheel into the dirt!
These Astons really don’t hold up well for James Bond.

3.) 200MPH’s Awful CGI
CGI can be a beautiful, beautiful thing for filmmakers. It saves money, it saves time, and can allow filmmakers to put their movies and actors in places they might never have the option to go. But if you’re going to take advantage of what CGI can do for you, at least make a damn solid effort with it.
Looking past all the car inconsistencies that and continuity errors that shamelessly occur throughout the movie, the awful CGI used is the cherry on top. They could’ve used stop-motion with diecast model cars and it would’ve come out better than what you see in the scene above!

2.) Days Of Thunder, Race Sequencing
With the Fast and Furious style gear shifts, poor steering control, an immense amount of unnecessary vehicle-vehicle contact, and numerous terrible racing movie cliches, the wheel to wheel race sequencing in Days of Thunder nearly takes the cake. Well it would, if the Fast and the Furious didn’t exist.
“Quick, your opponent is passing you on the outside! Put him in the wall!” -Every spotter ever in this movie.

1.) The Fast And The Furious, “Danger To Manifold”
You know you’re really pushing your car when your live-reading diagnostic laptop starts flashing like a nightclub, reads “DANGER TO MANIFOLD,” and your diamond-plated floorboard falls out.
Danger to manifold? Danger to the intake manifold? I don’t think so. These words have gone down in infamy as one of the most pointless phrases ever seen in a car movie. Because it means almost nothing.
