What Was The Least Lamborghini Lamborghini?

Anything with a crazy paint job, a monster engine, and lots of weird vents will register as a Lamborghini to the casual observer. But not all cars that Lamborghini built fit their stereotype.

Above is the 1970s Lamborghini Urraco. It came with such features as normal doors, conventional styling (by the standards of exotic cars), and a relatively tame V8 engine. If you lived in Italy and you wanted to avoid high taxes on big engined vehicles, you could order one with the engine shrunk down from three to two liters.

I happen to adore this car, said to be better to drive than the legendary Porsche 911 Carrera 2.7 RS.

But the Urraco isn’t a very stereotypically Lamborhgini-esque car, even though it has a raging bull on the hood.
