Though you may command one of the world’s largest nuclear arsenals, surrounded by advisors, henchmen, and yes-men, things can sometimes feel a little lonely. To escape the crushing loneliness, you might even try to dive down to the bottom of the sea in a submarine. Until you realize the sea is made up of your own tears.
But as reader Jcarr notes on this photo of Russian President Vladimir Putin, diving down to the bottom of the Black Sea in a submersible, the deepest depths can’t drown that empty hole in your heart:
Not even the Black Sea can wash away my sadness...
That single, solitary roll of paper towels may be insufficient for wiping away the eye-sweat, Mr. President.
