I like to think of the One Ford Plan as a kind of cultural exchange program. Europe and China get our sexy, V8-powered, get-your-kick-on-Route 66 Mustang, while America gets the Focus RS, the modern descendant of Ford Europe's legendary rallying hatches.

The Focus is kind of the grandson of the original Ford Escort. While this MK2 Escort didn't have fancy turbo power or all-wheel drive, it had a successful run in rallying, just like the original.
And it can drift roundabouts like there's no tomorrow.
