I don't know about you, but I'm pretty sure that's a Lambo, dude! In Florida this time.
We already know that the Gallardo's replacement can do 208mph before crashing into things, but if you want to go faster then that, a twin-turbo Gallardo remains the king of the hill.
This prime example is said to pack over 2,000 horsepower, and that seems to be the problem because according to Race Car Things, it already spin out the day before ending up in the pond. It also got damaged, that's why they ran it without its rear diffuser on the second day.
As a result of having more power then downforce, the car started to lose control once it got close to its top speed and left the runway to the right, only to slide into the water instead of spinning around on an empty field. But hey, at least it didn't flip.
Water damage is nasty stuff but this airport's lake looks shallow enough for this Lambo to get away with the encounter. As for the future, here's a clue how a Gallardo race car should look like.
