Ever see something and thing, holy crap, I wish I thought of that? I sure have. In fact, I'm thinking that right now, as I type this, about this wonderful series of drawings called If They Transformed by Darren Rawlings.
The idea, like so many good ideas, is really simple: take famous cars from movies and/or television and imagine how'd they look as Transformer-style robots. The drawings are lovely and well-done, with a nice clean line quality and a lot of charm.
Dammit, these are pretty great.
