48-year-old Liu Fulong of Shenyang, China did indeed build himself an electric car. As he is a carpenter, he constructed the whole thing out of wood.

I mean, other than the electric motor and stuff. I can only assume that is made out of non-wood materials such as metal.

China News reports that the 200 kg car has a 20km (12 mi) range, tops out at 30 km/h (19 mph) and took a mere three months to build.
