Here's What It Feels Like When Your Lamborghini Is Impounded

Working really hard to buy your childhood dream car is awesome. The police putting said dream car on a truck and taking it away from you is significantly less awesome. Friend of Jalopnik Rob Dahm recently had his 2001 Diablo taken away by the nice people of law enforcement, and here's how he handled it.

I recently interviewed Rob about how much it really costs to live with a Lamborghini, but this was a cost that he didn't include - the inevitable impound when you're caught having fun in your crazy yellow supercar. The incident in question happened at the Motor City Gumball, where he was pulled over for speeding initially, but then had the car impounded because of issues with the registration.

I'm not sure I would've had this much restraint.

He also has a real name that he didn't feel was journalist-y enough so he used a pen name and this was the best he could do.
