While Chinese citizens are more than welcome to purchase a locally built Range Rover Evoque, they will need to fork out at least 425,000 yuan ($68,772) for the British luxury SUV experience.
Chinese car maker Jiangling Motor Holding, owner of the Landwind SUV brand found this unacceptable, and came up with a solution at quarter of the Evoque's price.
The X7 (hello BMW!) is reportedly based on the larger X8's platform, powered by a 2 liter turbo sending around a 190 horsepower and 184 foot pounds of torque through a six-speed manual or an eight-speed auto.
And look, it also knows iOS/Android!
Unfortunately, we have no word on Windows Phone support yet...
