Mazda Canada gave snowboarder Sebastien Toutant a Mazda3 and a bunch of Mazda-branded snowboards, and let him go nuts in a big parking lot.

Their improvised skid-plate method appears to just be backing onto the snowboard and setting the emergency brake, and while it's pretty destructive to the snowboard, it seems to work.

Of course, cafeteria trays would work, too. Maybe Honda can get some competitive-eating champ to pull off the same stuff with cafeteria trays and a Civic.
