A throaty exhaust isn't just good for making your car faster, but also for waking up the dead. And making them dance. Here are our ten glorious, loud favorites.
10.) Maserati GranTurismo Sport
It's the Ferrari V8 sound, only better.
I'm not going to lie. I intentionally held one of these up on the highway last weekend to make him pass me. Worth it.

9.) Porsche 991 GT3
A flat-six that revs to 9,000rpm. For two extra cylinders and a roof-mounted exhausts, please press the 918 button!

8.) Dodge Challenger SRT 6.2 Hellcat
While technically not on sale yet, the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat is so awesome, it has to be here. I drive an Auto - Deal with it:
It's the sound of Valkyries descending onto a battlefield.
Someone on Oppo tweeted Gilles, asking if the sound is only because it's a prototype, and Gilles tweeted back about the "wonders of active exhaust." So yeah, it's pretty much gonna sound like this.

7.) Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG
No replacement for displacement, German style.

5.) Koenigsegg Agera R
It's like a muscle car that uses boost to take away your soul forever. Now, you understand the ghost in their logo.

5.) Abarth 500
Yes, the little Fiat really is that good. Best sound per dollar by far.

4.) Jaguar F-Type R
The F-Type R can beat the 911 in more ways than one, but its strongest selling point remains that supercharged V8 and the thunderstorm it generates. It never gets old.

3.) Ferrari F12 Berlinetta
Ask the guys at Maranello for an insane V12 and they will deliver.

2.) Lamborghini Aventador
Lambo's new V12 is just as special as the old one. Plus points for being a flamethrower as well. Mailbox Cancer agrees:
There's nothing like it at full throttle. It has a vocal quality that I can't quite put to into words.

1.) Aston Martin V12 Vantage S
And the best thing? After this V12 gets retired, Aston Martins are getting AMG engines. Imagine that cold fusion!
