An incredibly historically valuable Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing was pretty much destroyed yesterday at the Mille Miglia by a passing BMW (of course). It was one of the really nice ones, too, with the black paint and red interior. Aw, what the hell.
The Benz was valued at around 800,000 euros, according to Il Giornale de Brescia, and the two brothers driving it should be okay. Let's hope the car can be repaired as well.
