Somehow, I'm not exactly surprised by this one.
The Smoking Gun reports that the 21-year-old Oregonian driver was arrested on Sunday night. First he drove his ex-girlfriend home, then he assaulted her when she tried to take his keys away. He was arrested when he then drove his '94 Ranger onto the sidewalk and then crashed into another car.
He has been charged with driving under the influence, reckless driving, reckless endangerment, harassment and strangulation, the local Corvalis Gazette-Times reports. His blood alcohol content was 0.2, twice the legal limit.
Why didn't his ex drive his truck home? According to the police, it was only because she couldn't drive stick.
