The only thing harder to get excited over these days than a Nissan Versa Note is a Katherine Heigl movie. But slap on some attractive wheels and a nice grille and the 2015 Nissan Versa Note SR actually looks good. No idea what it would do for Heigl, though.
That's not important, but the Note SR might appeal to you if you like the 40 mpg highway fuel economy and low, low price of the normal hatch, but thought it looked too bargain basement.
The exterior gets mirrors with turn signals, front and rear spoilers, front fog lights and 16-inch alloy wheels. Inside, there's a stripe on the seats to remind you this is the Note SR.
There are no performance upgrades here, though, just the 1.6-liter 109 horsepower engine mated only to a CVT. Want a hot little hatch? The Ford Fiesta ST is waiting.
