Nissan GT-R Nismo: When Godzilla Goes Damn Insane

The GT-R Nismo is ridiculous. Never again will people say the GT-R looks boring. And I'm willing to bet that people will not be calling this GT-R a digital appliance either. Nearly 600 horsepower will do that.

This GT-R, which human speed machine Usain Bolt was on hand to introduce, is hog wild in person. Do people say hog wild anymore? I'm going to assume they do.

The body is festooned with ridges and nooks and crannies, as well as a wonderfully huge carbon fiber wing. All of this works in concert with the 600 horsepower and 481 pound feet of torque to get it around the Nurburgring in 7:08. That's fast.

But you know all that. The question is, will it be more digital or really involving. I'm betting it'll be highly involving and fun. Looking at the video of the 'Ring lap, I think it'll be funner than you imagine.

The GT-R has 255/40 20s up front, with 285/35 20s out back. Grip is supposedly immense, but at high speeds, like a regular GT-R, it'll be lively. And hilariously fast.

It'll be on sale sometime in 2014, after the rest of the 2015 GT-Rs hit the ground.
