The 2014 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 is the muscular beast's ultimate evolution, a stripped-down track monster made to annihilate anything Ford can dish out. That includes the mighty Mustang Boss 302. Just ask a totally unbiased source with no dog in the fight whatsoever — Chevrolet!
Okay, this video comes from Chevy, so you kind of know how it's going to turn out. In it the Z/28's engineers outline all the reasons they say the über-Camaro can say Who's The Boss to the Boss, like higher lateral G's cornering speeds (also, wasn't the 1LE supposed to fight the Boss?).
They say the Z/28 is at least four seconds faster than the Boss around their Milford Proving Grounds track, and they want to see how it does against the Porsche 911 GT3 and the Nissan GT-R.
Frankly, I'd love to see Ford, Porsche and/or Nissan fire back with a video of their own that proves their cases, or an independent test of all four. We're available.
