Which Character From The Simpsons Is Elon Musk?

There's an ongoing joke around here that Elon Musk is a supervillain, with his money and his private space program, who cleverly adopted the image of saving the world. Today's Tesla Model S crash results only further this belief and Travis referred to him as Hank Scorpio, although some wonder if we have the right character.

Albert Brooks made Hank Scorpio one of the most memorable one-show characters in the long history of The Simpsons series. A lovable, funny, bearded man who is also bent on world destruction. People generally like Musk and I'm sure they'd be disappointed if he turned into Scorpio. What would that be like? let Ravey Mayvey Slurpee Surprise explain.

Shades of Scorpio, but what of the Hyperloop? Highball! makes another point:

I thought we came to the conclusion that thanks to Hyperloop, Elon Musk is Lyle Lanley, though if he did turn out to be Hank Scorpio I wouldn't complain.

At the rate he's going, Elon Musk will probably end up as an actual cameo on The Simpsons
