Meet the race car GM would build if there were no limits, the Chevrolet Chaparral 2X Vision Gran Turismo for GT6. GM should definitely go prototype racing with this.
Designed to play tribute to the crazy aerodynamic wonders the Chevy-powered Chaparral race cars were in the late sixties and early seventies, the Chevrolet Chaparral 2X VGT was created at GM's North Hollywood Advanced Design Center by a team of designers led by Charles LeFranc.
Here's him and Frank Saucedo standing next the foam-and-fiberglass prototype of the digital car before they took the final product to the LA Auto Show.
Hey, it's almost as real as a mid-engined Corvette!
