Keeping the numbers straight when you're dealing with the recall of nearly 30 million vehicles is hard, so this shouldn't come as a surprise. GM inadvertently lumped in a few hundred Cadillacs in Monday's recall of 8.4-million cars, promptly encouraging us to modify our chart.

The confusion came from the recall of the 2014 Cadillac CTS. That all-new sedan isn't included, but the Coupe and Wagon variants – hold overs from the last generation that are still on sale as 2014 models – are part of the recall for unintended ignition key rotation. According to the Freep, that only affects 264 models sold. So, back to the drawing board.
