No, you're not dreaming, a racing company has built a 508 horsepower Volvo S60. It's the Volvo S60 Polestar Concept and we had to see it with our own eyes to believe it's real.

This car is a VILF.

We're looking at an unbelievably plain Swedish sedan with Haldex four wheel drive, Öhlins suspension, and an inappropriately powerful turbocharged inline six. Just so you can salivate over those numbers one more time that's 508 horsepower and 424 lb-ft of torque. That's the kind of power that just starts getting you to shit yourself.

Polestar, the people who race these cars, claim 0-60 in 3.9 seconds and a top speed above 186 mph. If having a bright blue Volvo wasn't enough to tell you neighbors that you're weird, screeching out of the driveway at a zillion miles an hour should tip them off.

Needless to say, we want this car. We've heard rumors that this individual S60 may have gone to Jay Leno for around $2 million. As for regular plebes, we can make do with an optional 25-horsepower kit for the S60, as well as that neat blue.
