Utah: Salt, Mormons And The NASA National Championships

The National Auto Sport Association (NASA) National Championships are being held at Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele, Utah, this weekend. Jalopnik is here to bring you a pedestrian's view of the paddock.

Utah's license plate states, "Ski Utah!" The folks at the 5th Annual National Auto Sport Association (NASA) National Championships presented by Toyo Tires would like to see a license plate that said "Race Utah!"

Before the racing action began we took a stroll through the pits to check out the competition.

Speaking of license plates, I'm pretty sure you couldn't get a six digit yellow and black plate in California when this 1991 Honda CRX racing in the Honda Challenge 2 class was built.

This license plate is classic. A little "Live fast and die young" mantra.

It's tough to read this one mounted to this gas guzzling beast, but it says "Infidel."

This license plate is a radiator. It says, "I'm cool."

No plate here, but the sticker is funny. Although the grammar indicates he lost some letters, specifically " 're "

It took me a minute to get the joke.

This is the car that was shown in the lead photo (taken by the guys at Head-On Photos) throwing some serious dirt around. Go Hammy! Dig yourself out!
