Chevrolet S-10 X-treme
Suggested By: smalleyxb122
Why It's Poserific: The only thing "X-Treme" about this tarted up S-10 was how often buyers smash the much-lower front fascia. Other than that, 2.2 L I4 or wheezy 4.3-liter V6 in an S-10.

Chrysler Crossfire
Suggested By: ODD DOOD
Why It's Poserific: Do we even have to explain the Crossfire? It was based on a concept car everyone went bonkers over, then the styling was watered way down, the suspension made of marshmallows and the 3.2-liter V6 engine turned out only 215 hp. The SRT-6 went a long way to fix these problems, but the Crossfire led a life of bouncing checks it's ass couldn't deliver on.

Chevrolet SSR
Suggested By: Buckus
Why It's Poserific: It's a hot-rod truck convertible styled after the Advanced Design trucks of the 40's. Even though it came with 300 hp originally, and 400 hp later on, there was no amount of power, or handling, or hype could ever overcome the amount of poser baked into this pie.

Hyundai Tiburon
Suggested By: FreeDummy
Why It's Poserific: When the Tiburon originally came out, Hyundai was still building very shitty cars. Now they've moved on and build decent cars, unfortunately that doesn't change things for the ole Tib. Hot looks (at the time) and a sporty appearance where usurped by front-wheel drive and uninspired powertrains.

Pontiac G6 GXP
Suggested By: Canuck Chinaman
Why It's Poserific: Standard G6 plus a giant buck-toothed grille and aircraft carrier deck spoiler on the back all designed with input from 50 Cent. Need we say more?

Toyota Celica GT "Action"
Suggested By: Scandanavian Flick
Why It's Poserific: The Toyota Celica wasn't a bad car so to speak, a bit disappointing given how great past Celicas were, but okay as sporty transportation. It's when Toyota added the Fast and Furious-inspired body work abomination of the "Action" package on that it went too far. The bookshelf wing and swirly rocker panels, big exhaust tip, and hyper-aggressive front fascia were in no way backed up by performance upgrades.

'82 Pontiac Trans Am 305
Suggested By: smackela
Why It's Poserific: The Pontiac Trans Am was every kid's poster car. It was sexy, the Hoff drove one in Knight Ridder, and it looked like the future. What more could you want? How about any performance whatsoever. 165 hp got the car from a standing start to 60 mph in 9.5 seconds.

Scion TC
Suggested By: phatnackySS
Why It's Poserific: Looks okay, appeals to da youfs, and has little in the way of actual performance. the TC is a cynical marketing effort to make money on youth culture and get kids into the Toyota lifestyle. Nothing more, nothing less.

F-Body Camaro RS
Suggested By: shinjukuDLJ
Why It's Poserific: The really glorious part about the Camaro RS wasn't that it was powered by a pitifully slow boat anchor, it was the factory body kit they slapped on it. They didn't even put those side sills and chin spoilers on the Z28 and here it is on a ponderously slow V6 Camaro. Impressive.

Plymouth Prowler
Suggested By: E30fernando
Why It's Poserific: Maybe the ultimate posermobile, the Plymouth Prowler has daring hot rod styling, a push rod suspension, huge wheels and... a weak V6. The narrow engine bay meant the only engine Chrysler could fit in there was a 3.5-liter V6 with 214 hp, later raise to 253 hp, but it never really made the cut.
