Mercedes showed off its new sexy wagon lineup today, but we only mentioned the E400 because, right now, that’s the only one to be sold in America. But, having stared at it long enough, the E43 AMG is worth talking about.

The E43 AMG Estate that our friends overseas are getting has 400 horsepower from a 3.0 liter biturbo V6, and like all Mercedes models ever, forever in history, it looks perfect in black.

But don’t weep as you can still get an E400 stateside in black, and there is a possibility of the E-Class wagon getting a full AMG makeover for you to spend all your money on in the future. In the meantime...

Look at it. There it goes, back into the ocean to Europe.

They’ll still have the E63, right? Does the E43 amount to the equivalent to Cadillac's V-Sport or Audi's S version? If so, it's a big misleading to be named an AMG model.
