We’re going to see the new Toyota Supra launched at the Detroit Auto Show on Monday, but ahead of the official launch SupraMkV.com is saying they have a source providing pricing of the new car, as well as the three launch trims, and a few new official photographs.

Take this leak with a grain of salt, as it still hasn’t been confirmed, but Jalopnik has reached out to Toyota and we will update this post with more information as it becomes available.

The new Supra will launch in base, premium, and special Launch Edition, according to the forum.

Base 3.0 six cylinder: $49,990

Premium 3.0 six cylinder: $53,990

Launch edition 3.0 six cylinder: $55,250

The Launch Edition is the pre-order car, and among other things has some aesthetic changes and may come with some accessories off car, but at its core is the 3.0L Premium.

If these numbers are real, it’s even a little less than what we were expecting – which can only be a good thing.

Found the concept quite spectacular. Was disappointed when the first images of the camouflaged mules were posted. Seeing the production version makes me nauseous.

Toyota had the balls to bring back the Supra, the least they could do is build something worthy of a flagship car and as special as the last generation was. This doesn’t look like a 50K+ car to me nor does it look like a worthy successor. Take off the badge and you got a decent looking 30K Hundai.

Anyone who think this is a pretty car, I respect your opinion but strongly encourage you to google “RX7" to put things into perspective. Chances are the images you’ll see are older than you, but you’ll get the point.

Here, you’re welcome.
