We've been waiting far too long for KTM to finally bless the U.S. with the Duke 390. It's small, it's light, it's got the right amount of power, and should be perfectly priced. It also has the potential to be a great new base for customizers, and this KTM 200 Duke-T is further proof.
At the Thailand International Expo, Kunka, KTM's distributor in the country, showed off this subtly reworked 390 transformed into a tracker/scrambler by ripping off the fenders, fitting some knobby Pirellis, swapping the headlight and signals, and what looks like a modified exhaust.
It's a simple conversion that wouldn't take much time or scratch to pull of, boosted by the aftermarket, which has embraced the 390 abroad. And considering the 390 formed the basis for these awesome Husqvarna concepts, the potential is huge.
