Oklahoma police were running a standard training exercise on some new sonar equipment yesterday on Foss Lake when they made a discovery that they never expected: Two cars, three skeletons in each. That's not really a normal thing to find.
The first car is a 1950s model sedan. And, wasting no time, the police believe they know who it was: A couple that was on their way to Canute in the early 1960s. They were never seen again. They have no clue who the third person was in that car. Maybe it was Jimmy Hoffa? Somehow?
The second car appears to be a 1969 Chevy Camaro with three more bodies in it. Police believe them to be the bodies of three teenagers that went missing in November 1970. Jimmy Allen Williams, 16, Leah Gail Johnson, 18, and Thomas Michael Rios, 18 were last seen in Williams' 1969 Camaro before they were reported missing.
How do things like this happen? You'd think the lake would be one of the first places you'd search when people go mysteriously missing. I guess the 1960s and '70s were simpler times.
