Say, remember that 736-horsepower Volkswagen Golf from a few months ago? It's okay... I guess. I say that now because I just found one that's even more psychotic.
Meet the 16Vampir Golf, a MK1 model with a 1.8-liter turbo engine putting out a stonking 1,013 horsepower on 60 psi of boost.
You read that right: a little first-gen Golf with nearly as much power as a Bugatti Veyron. It's the latest creation from the German fiends at Boba Motoring, who previously did do that 736-hp model we saw last time.
This one's a bit more high-tech, having a DSG transmission and 4-Motion all-wheel-drive. But while it starts out gently enough, hard acceleration gets violent — and scary.
I think you'd have to be certifiably insane to drive it. Would anyone care to give this thing a try?
