Nissan's done a pretty good job thus far of keeping things about their Le Mans prototype that they don't want to be public just yet (like its driver lineup) out of the public eye. Sportscar365 just dropped an interesting rumor of who one of the remaining two drivers might be: ex-Sauber Formula One pilot Adrian Sutil.
Adrian Sutil was left without a Formula One drive this year when Sauber opted to pick up Marcus Ericsson and Felipe Nasr instead.
Recently, Sutil told F1Zone, ""I can't say what I'm going to do, but it is true there are categories other than Formula One."
HMMMMMMMMMM.
We may get another ex-F1 driver in the World Endurance Championship yet.
As far as the other seat goes, Hooniverse recently sat down with Nismo chief Darren Cox for an interview. Cox smiled a bit at the suggestion of an all-Japanese team of drivers for the #21 car.
Personally, I'm hoping for Katsumasa Chiyo.
