The good news: Radwood 2, the sporty and dynamic 1980s and ‘90s car show, is just a few days away. It happens this Saturday, Dec. 2, in Anaheim, California. The bad news: if you wanted to display your rad car there, you’re shit outta luck. But you can still come and look at the cars.

Our friends the Radwood 2 organizers tell us they have sold every pre-registration auto entry ticket. If you bought a ticket already, great. You’re all set. Bring your car and get ready to be rad.

If you didn’t, you can still grab a general admission ticket for just $10 and enjoy the show anyway. It may be possible to still show your car if a space opens up, but don’t count on it.

Even so, organizers are expecting Radwood 2 (sponsored by us, Jalopnik) to draw hundreds of cars, so even if you can’t bring your own ride, you and your friends are in for a great show.

How to sign up: Head on over to the Radwood Eventbrite site!

Where: The Phoenix Club in Anaheim, California

When: Saturday, December 2, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

What cars: Cars built between Jan. 1, 1980 and Dec. 31, 1999, though exceptions will be made for earlier cars with a distinctly period-correct aesthetic, or later “continuation” models.

What else: Period dress is compulsory! Dress like it’s the ‘80s or ‘90s! Honestly, given current fashion trends, this isn’t that hard.

We can’t wait to see you there!

This could not be more SoCal if it tried.

My LA friend Matthew Bowne constantly searches eBay for period correct surf stickers for his 80s Datsun truck and has a vintage serape seat cover.
