Those not on the know tend to believe that fuel economy is always the tradeoff if you want a fun car. Historically, this just isn't true, and thanks to advancements in technology, it's even less true in 2014.

That's our question of the day: What's the most fuel-efficient performance car?

There are a ton of older examples you could come up with, and even more newer ones, too. The last Corvette Stingray I drove regularly got more than 30 MPG on the highway. It could also do zero to 60 mph in under four seconds.

That kind of "Have your cake and eat it too" is really hard to argue with.
