#Offtopic: There's No Car Girls On The Internets

We've asked Victor Lin, a Gawker Media community intern, to take a dive into Jalopnik's #offtopic forum and fish out some juicy morsels. He knows nothing about cars. Let's laugh together below. — Ed.

Like fellow intern Jeff Archipley who ran the last #offtopic round-up, I am not a car guy. But as I was reading over the #offtopic posts here at Jalopnik, Jeff and I hashed out the inevitable topics that come up when auto dudes talk to each other: games, women, sports, women, food, and oh yeah, did I mention women?

And now without further ado, here is what Jalopnik had to say, both car-related and completely not-car related:

-I feel much safer sleeping at night now that I know there are fences that will stop terrorist hijackers
- Na, Na, Na, Na, Na, Na, Na, Na, Na....Batman!
-Weird Al losing the deposit on his rental
-Would you buy a car that smells like old people?
-Random car advertisements
-Again, I'm no car guy, but I'm pretty sure that's not how you do it
-Hmmmmmm? What's your hand doing down there?

One last thing: I would like to apologize for not recognizing the female car enthusiasts. But hey, if you have been on the Internet as long as I have, you would know that there are no girls on the Internet.

Nonetheless, I hope I have inspired other readers to participate in the awesomeness that is #offtopic because as skyln95 pointed out, only a few readers are sticking to it. This must change. For the sake of the children. And the women.
