British Airways recently made a big splash across the pond by selecting former model and successful entrepreneur Michelle Mone for a summer advertising campaign. What do you think?

Born in 1971, Michelle Mone left school at age 15 to support her family after her dad was confined to a wheelchair, due to an illness. She took an office job with Labatt Brewery and climbed the ranks to become Director for Scotland, running the sales & marketing by age 22. In 1996, after having an uncomfortable evening out in a push-up bra, she decided to create a better product and launched the Ultimo brand. Ultimo has since branched out into a full line of lingerie and swimwear.

Georgia May Jagger, daughter of Rolling Stones front man Mick Jagger, also recently did a photo shoot for the airline.

In February, Sex And The City actress Kristin Davis recently helped British Airways promote their new Airbus A380 route from London to Singapore.

Not all of British Airways' press is full of beautiful ladies, however. Earlier this week, the airline posted an unfortunately-timed digital ad in London's Underground stations that said "Escape the commute and discover the Indian Ocean." The Indian Ocean is where the missing Malaysia Airlines flight 370 is believed to have went down. Once the ad was brought to attention on Twitter, the airline issued an apologetic response saying, "Our Indian Ocean advert contained pre-scheduled content that we recognise is inappropriate at this time. We're sorry for any offense caused."
