Today in “Holy Shit” and also “Oh My Freaking God,” an Alaska Air flight had to turn around make an emergency landing at Seattle’s Sea-Tac Airport after an airport worker was found to be trapped in the cargo hold.
The Seattle PI reports that Alaska Air flight Flight 448 to Los Angeles turned around after the pilot heard banging coming from inside the plane. The flight landed safely at Sea-Tac, and then “officials did find a ramp agent in the cargo hold.”
The condition of the airport worker was unknown, but he was seen walking to an ambulance after being discovered.
I bet you thought your Monday was bad, huh? His was worse.
Update: Our pals over at Gawker report that the dude was taking a nap in the cargo hold when the plane took off. No word on whether he still has a job or not.
