We only saw the front of the new Land Rover Discovery and nothing else at the beginning of this month, but new leaked photos now show the rest of the car. And it looks...fine? It looks fine.
7he leaked images appeared on Land Rover’s Australian website, but seem to have been taken down already. However, Australian car news site CarAdvice.com was able to screengrab them before they were removed. They show the new Discovery without its camo paint, giving you a pretty good idea of what to expect. Here they are:
The new Discovery will be unveiled later today at the Paris Motor Show. It most likely will not look any different from the one in these photos.
Oh, and here’s a strange trailer for the Discovery’s seat folding technology.
It amuses me that the photos all show the Discovery doing some serious off roading, because I don’t expect most buyers to actually perform any of those activities—especially driving it up a river. Up a river of shopping carts at Costco the day before Thanksgiving, maybe, but not a river of, you know, water.
As for me, I’m still holding out for the day a leaked photo of the new Land Rover Defender hits the internet. That will be a good day.

Correction: As is often the case with new cars, it was unclear whether the new Discovery is a 2017 or 2018 model year car; it is a 2017. This post has been updated.
