Welcome to Sunday Matinee, where we highlight classic car reviews or other longer videos I find on YouTube. Kick back and enjoy this blast from the past.

This week we're featuring one of Top Gear's latest specials, "The Worst Car in the History of the World." And we can say without hesitation that it's one of their very best yet.

In it, Jeremy Clarkson and James May travel to exotic Northern England to see if they can find the most deplorable vehicle ever to be fitted with four tires.

Segments include a drag race between a Commie-made FSO Polonez and a faux-Jeep from Mahindra that takes so long Clarkson starts to grow a beard; a feature on the sad current Lanica lineup; hilarity that ensues when trying to park a clutchless Sensonic Saab 900; and scathing critiques of both the Ford Escort RS Cosworth and the Alfa Romeo GTV6, which I doubt will go over well with many of you. We also get an appearance from the Stig's Yorkshire cousin, which is a British cultural reference I don't understand.

Of course, there's also some great metal tested here, including the Ferrari 458 Italia Spider, the Mercedes-Benz SLS, the outgoing BMW M3 and the current M5, and the Lexus LFA. Say what you want about the latter, but that V10 engine is one of my favorite sounds on earth.

This video was first brought to our attention by reader BaconSandwich is back. Until he gets eaten again. in the comment thread about Jeremy Clarkson's mini-review of the Toyota GT 86 earlier this week. That's included in this video, and while Clarkson had great things to say about the Toyobaru, but the same can't be said for the next car he reviews, the not-so dearly departed Lexus SC 430.

Remember, this bad boy just went on sale (at least in the UK), so while you can watch it for free here, it will also make a great stocking-stuffer for your favorite petrolhead.
