Is A Golf GTI Better With A Manual Or A DSG?

The manual is cheaper an more fun, the DSG is great in traffic and keeps your left foot very relaxed. It's a tough one.

I recently tested two Skodas, both of which came with a DSG and both of which would have been better with a six-speed manual.

I also drove a 2014 Volkswagen Golf GTD, which was just fine with a DSG.

Manuals are dying and we are the ones to blame. Still, when it comes to a 2015 Golf GTI, I believe a stick shift should be a no brainer. After all, the manual will be cheaper to buy, cheaper to service, and you can always spend the extra money on gas...

Why buy a manual when you can buy a DSG which is basically exactly the same as a manual except you can choose not to shift when you want to drive lazy sometimes. Or what if you break your foot or something you can still drive your car if it's a DSG so I would go with DSG.
