It looks like there's no shortage of crazy pills over at Audi these days! Here's a surprise concept they're dropping on us at the Frankfurt Motor Show: the Audi Nanuk Quattro concept. With V10 TDI power, huge tires and Lamborghini looks, it's here to party on or off the road.

Audi says the Giugaro-designed, two-seat concept car is powered by a mid-mounted 5.0-liter diesel V10 with an insane 544 horsepower and 738 pound-feet of torque. While it weighs a hefty 4,200 pounds, Audi says it's fast enough to hit 62 mph in just 3.8 seconds.

There's also a trick steering system that lets the rear wheels turn up to nine degrees in the opposite direction of the front wheels, greatly reducing the car's turning radius.

If I have just one complaint about it, it's that it looks an awful lot like an Audi-fied version of the Giugaro Parcour Concept from Geneva earlier this year. They come from the same studio, so I doubt that's a coincidence.

Is it headed for production? That seems unlikely. I don't care though. I want to race it anywhere and everywhere.
