Scott Speed undoubtedly has the best name in motorsports. He's a racing driver and his last name is Speed. It doesn't get better than that. He's also the last American to drive full-time in Formula One, is a karting champion, and is currently trying out NASCAR. And right now he's here to answer your questions. Fire away!

Speed, like any good driver, started off in karts, where he was a multiple champion. His goal at the time was Formula One. That's where Red Bull comes in.

Speed won the Red Bull driver search in 2002, which sent him straight into the European racing ladder system to get to Formula One. The Red Bull backed driver won championships on his way up the ladder, but also had some difficulty off of the track.

Acclimating to life overseas is tough, but he was also suffering from colitis. It didn't stand in his way though, and he got to GP2, where he ended up finishing third in the standings in 2005.

F1 came calling the next year, when Speed was promoted to Scuderia Toro Rosso, Red Bull's junior team. He didn't score points in either year of competition, and was replaced in 2007 by Sebastian Vettel.

He went NASCAR racing instead. Speed drove for Red Bull's new NASCAR team, and like many who switch from open-wheel to NASCAR, the transition wasn't the easiest. He did win in the ARCA series, as well as NASCAR trucks. He also attempted to qualify for the 2011 Indy 500, but that didn't pan out.

He just won gold at the XGames in Rally Cross as well, a totally unexpected victory.

Speed is currently in NASCAR running for Leavine Family Racing. But right now he's here, live, for the next hour to answer any questions you throw at him. Ask about Red Bull, being an American in F1, the transition to NASCAR, karting, or really anything.

The floor is yours! UPDATE: Scott had to run, thanks for taking the time to ask him questions, he had a great time.
