Cream -- 'White Room'

Traffic sucks, so why not start your morning off with some music? You provide the toast and we'll provide the jams.

Cream was the first ever supergroup, comprised of Ginger Baker and Jack Bruce from the Graham Bond Organisation (you've never heard of them?!!??) and Eric Clapton (yes, that Eric Clapton) from The Yardbirds.

They came together to form one of the greatest rock trios of all time. The band formed in 1966 and broke up in late 1968, but the catalog of music they put out in that short time was simply astounding.

Since the band broke up, they have had a few reunions, the most recent in 2005. They played a week of shows at Royal Albert Hall in London and a couple more in New York City. By the end of the NYC run, problems had resurfaced (Ginger Baker kinda can't stand Jack Bruce) and they basically broke up again.

This performance of White Room from the Royal Albert Hall shows is one of my favorite live tracks out there. Clapton just seems to get better and better with age.
