Alfa Romeo’s upcoming crossover, likely called the Stelvio, is supposed to have a big reveal party at this year’s LA Auto Show in November, and yet, here it is—leaked in a factory tour video from Alfa Romeo themselves.
The original video posted to the Fiat Chrysler Automobiles YouTube channel featured a second-long look at the Stelvio slightly wrapped up on the production line. It has since been removed and replaced with an edited copy, but the fine folks over at CarScoops have uploaded the original to Facebook.
You can see the crossover in between the awkward jazz recording shots:
The front of the car obviously borrows heavily from the new Giulia sedan, as that’s how modern automotive design goes these days. The rest of it is fine for its segment. It looks perhaps a little more smooth and car-like compared to some of its over-styled aggressive-looking competition, and maybe that will win it some sales.
The Stelvio is expected to share a lot with the Giulia sedan, including the base 2.0 liter turbo four cylinders and the 2.9 liter V6 on a potential sportier model.
We’ll see what really going down in November.
