Looking good so far! But I better not find any photos of coupes, or so help me... Read more

Agreed. All (well, most) is forgiven if these cars can be rendered safe and roadworthy at the push of a button. Read more

“Stance”, literally speaking, could be anything. There are many varieties of stance, including stock stance. If used as a verb or adjective (“to stance a car”, “a stanced car”), then yeah, that would be referencing an aftermarket stance, modifed from whatever stance it originally had. At any rate, the “hellafail”

Yeah I guess someone had to say it. I appreciate you stepping up. If this was the only way to solve visibility problems in modern cars, I’ll take it! But it’s not the only solution, and frankly I’d rather have see-through pillars (as seen in concepts from Volvo, Kia, and Nissan) instead. Read more

LOL I don’t find myself in the passenger seat very often, but when I do, it’s hard to resist the habit of leaning forward and looking both ways when at a stop sign. I have to force myself to sit back and give the driver room to do the looking. Read more

Netflix says that it has “no plans” to roll this out on a larger scale, and any decisions they make will be based on “the feedback we receive.” Read more

Well, think about how we humans cope with that. We’re not really looking for the edge of the road, are we? We’re just trying to stay out of the oncoming “lane”. So it’s more important to locate the center of the road than the edge. A well-defined edge would make that easier, but we can use other features as reference Read more

It seems so simple, doesn’t it? I mean, navigating unpaved roads comes so easily to us humans. You just look at the road ahead, divide it by half, and drive on your own half. It’s kind of mind-blowing that this concept would be so complicated for a computer. Read more

For the longest time, I’d get the Flex and the Edge mixed up. Mostly because of the names, which seemed to suggest each other’s styling. The boxy one should have been named “Edge”... Oh well. Read more

Eh, I bet it needed lines anyway. Hopefully they’re routed somewhat accessibly. *crosses fingers* Read more

Egads, that brake fluid reservoir! Maybe that leak was a blessing in disguise; to make sure that you send fresh fluid to all 4 corners. Better start soaking those bleeders in penetrating oil... Read more

Man, I dunno if I’m ready for the Frontier to be updated. We have a newer one in the fleet at work, as well as a late-model Colorado (I think they’re both ’18s?), and I like the Frontier more, just as it is. It’s less chunky, has better visibility, and has more of a no-nonsense interior compared to the Colorado. Yeah Read more

The “Mustang-inspired” styling is so distracting, making it hard to give this thing the name it deserves. Those design cues really need to stay unique to the Mustang, along with any Mustang naming influence. This thing should have its own face, so as not to dilute the Mustang brand by turning its styling into another Read more

Yeah, that’s the way I like it too. But it ain’t that simple on some cars though, and the promise of an “integrated assembly” sounds worrisome. Read more
