You’re not alone. After looking into this some more, I’m seeing a fairly popular mod known as the “ram’s horn” manifolds, which point the exhaust downward. Here’s the best close-up of the driver’s side area that I could find, but it was taken mid-project, so it’s not really a fair display of how much room there…

Apparently these have a single exhaust, running off of the passenger side, and this crossover is where the manifolds connect.

I don’t own a Frontier, but there’s one in the fleet at work. I’m going to try this! Read more
