Funny how most of the world always saw the 912 as “the poor man’s 911" but now seems to be recognizing the 912 as for what it is: a good balanced, air-cooled car that isn’t too flashy or setting any new land speed records.

Had one of these briefly in college in the early 90s. It was a joy to drive on a day without cares.
