Oh, I’ve seen those smashed before.

It’s okay, but the aftermarket companies do some nicer work.
Shout out to normal looking cars that can go like stink, gotta be my favorite genre of performance vehicle Read more
Obscure but awesome, the Weismann Gecko.
Don’t have that kind of money to get the whole ‘track car’ thing, but I’d ‘daily driver’ that thing to death. On another note, those wheels are nice, not a fan of the interior and damn, that car has some nice curves on it that makes me think it just slides and glides along the wind at higher speeds. Love the black… Read more

A good point. I think it’s good: that light blue is a good color and non-N drivers might enjoy it too. Plus, this car has a stick, and has been maintained, so it’s probably still more fun to drive than most other high-mile econoboxes saddled with autos or (perish the thought!) dreaded CVTs like Nissans. Not a car though definitely a vehicle, but when I was about 8 I got to ride in a giant earth-scraper. That was one hell of a bumpy ride down a steep grade, let me tell you. At 15 I got to drive a 22,000L water tanker truck (that was freaking scary), a proper bulldozer and all other manner of road construction… Read more
My dad is a retired Forester. When we were kids we’d go to the dryland sort, get a log, and my dad and uncles would spend the day splitting and bucking it into firewood. While that was happening, I got to ride in one of these: A log loader. I’d get to ride along and load log trucks. Super safe, I’m sure.
My uncle’s Series Land Rovers. Over hill and dale, through the river near their house, all sorts of off-road fun. And when I got tall enough, he taught me how to drive when I was 12 or so. In a RHD 109 diesel station wagon. Read more
A firetruck. My local town would do a fire safety day every year, and a ride in the fire truck was part of it. We also got to slide down the pole and try on some of their equipment. Read more
1983, I was working on my Eagle Scout Project. Part of it included moving 40 tons of topsoil from our farm down to the church. Dad had me call a buddy of his who had an excavation company to see about having him send over a dump truck. He was more than happy to send over a tri-axle to move the dirt, which we loaded… Read more
