$20 says it is the Chinese government’s sovereign fund if there really is secure funding. There is no other investor who is willing to throw money at money losing projects for reasons other than profits (other than the Saudis). Tesla needs the cash for the upcoming Chinese based factory so this hypothesis makes sense. Read more

Credit to anyone who can make a living driving full-time for Lyft or Uber. I did Lyft driving while I was in between jobs last year and it was murderous. The amount of wear it put on my car wasn’t worth it either. But it was great in a pinch in order to pay some bills. Read more
